Tempered glass is obtained by cutting ordinary annealed glass into the required size, heating it to around 700 degrees near the softening point, and then rapidly and uniformly cooling it (usually 5-6mm glass is heated for about 240 seconds and cooled for about 150 seconds at a high temperature of 700 degrees. 8-10mm glass is heated for about 500 seconds and cooled for about 300 seconds at a high temperature of 700 degrees.
After tempering, uniform compressive stress is formed on the surface of the glass, while tensile stress is formed inside, which improves the bending and impact strength of the glass.
Tempered glass that has been tempered and processed cannot be further cut, ground, or damaged, otherwise it will be crushed to pieces due to the failure of uniform compressive stress balance.
PRODUCT FEATURE
1 . Security : it will not hurt people after breaking to pieces
2 . High intensity : it has 4 to 5 times strength than float glass
3 . Hot stability : it has good hot stability , which can endure 3 times temperature than float glass , also can endure changing of above 200℃
